Devil

There's a story behind this...Once upon a time, my dad (~oldbob) used to raise rabbits with my aunt when they were growing up. At first, it was just for the fur and meat, so they raised only New Zealand Whites. But my aunt had wanted to become a rabbit judge, and in order to do that, you had to have shown at least 35 different breeds in shows. So they raised all kinds of rabbits, from Harliquens, to Chinchillas, to Lops and so on. One of their champion Netherland Dwarfs was Devil, the little guy in the picture. He was called so because of his ruby red eyes and his hatred for my grandmother. There was a time when she stuck her hand in his cage to feed him and he bit her right on the skin that's between the index finger and thumb. They had to pry him off...so my dad ended up with him in college (my aunt had moved away by this time) and my dad's roomate left the door open. Devil got loose and was never seen again. The end.

Anyway, this is for 's contest, even if it is a tad on the late side. When she said red, the first thing that came to mind was Devil's eyes, so I drew him. Man, it's been forever since I've drawn a rabbit...
