*filth and foul* scanner can't tell the difference between light and dark. I ought to kick its *filth and foul* when the *filth and foul* thing decides to do this kind of *filth and foul* to me...
Sorry 'bout that. My scanner thought my nice values weren't light enough, so it pretty much eliminated them entirely...so I did this today while working at the craft fair we were doing (I'm so proud of myself, I sold some prints!). The photo it's from was taken by the sweetest guy who encourages me in my artwork. I got some fox pictures from him as well as this one that he said I could draw.
My first ever moose picture!

The world's formost outfitter, as they call themselves. They are now a big chain of outdoors gear stores. They sell everything needed to be outside, for fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, camping, birding, animal watching, etc. The sell wild life artwork in all forms from trinkets to massive bronze sculptures. Prints and paintings are something they do sell at every store and over the web and in their catalogs. I do believe, they can sell original art as well. You will have to contact them. But check them out, they have some of the best outdoor life artists in the business. Your moose, I think are that good.
Oh neat. That's a huge compliment. I may have to check them out in the future. Unfortunately, I don't think I could get anywhere with this piece because even though the drawing is mine, the image is not. It's copyright to the wonderful guy who took the photo, and he also has the original drawing (I gave it to him in exchange for some gorgeous prints of his and his spoken permission to draw the images). I'd have to do some legal tinkering to get anywhere with this particular piece. But thank you so much for the comment and the resource.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The overall theme of this contest is 'Life', but most importantly, your biggest reason why you love life. Too frequently are we met with complaints, arguments, sadness... and more in between, so we would like you to portray something a little bit more upbeat, happy; something that makes you smile and feel warm, inside.
So, take a photograph of something that makes you giddy with joy, something that you enjoy, something that you may take for granted. Perhaps you can ask yourself what things you love in life, or what things you love about life, it's all up to you in how you interpret and portray this theme!
