It's nice to go back to my roots now and again with a little colored pencil realism.
Something I did for the nicest guy. His name is Don and he is the one who took the photo this picture came from. I met him at a craft fair my family's been doing forever and I've drawn a few of his photos over the years (the only other one I have posted here is "Moose Love" ) and we have a little exchange system going: I get a print of his photo in exchange for a print of my drawing. Since I love his stuff and he loves mine, it all works out. The scanner did a really poor job with this, but I'm too tired to care at this point. ---- Medium: colored pencil on 11"x14" bristol paper Time: five hours I think |
